Job Title: Painter

Location:

England, Greater London, Greenwich SE10

Job Type:

Temporary, 12 HOUR PER DAY
TOMORROW - SUNDAY

Salary:

£20 - £21 per hour

Job Duties:

• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting
• Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces
• Mix and match colours to desired shades
• Use brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply paints, stains, and varnishes
• Cover surfaces with cloth or plastic to ensure protection during painting
• Calculate costs and negotiate prices for work to be done

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter
• Knowledge of painting techniques
• CSCS Card
• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience working as a painter in the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of mixing and matching paint colours
• Understanding of different painting techniques
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant painting certifications
• Experience with industrial painting projects
• Health and Safety training

Working Conditions:

• Work may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and loud noises
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• May require working at heights or in confined spaces
