Estimator - East Midlands
Approach Personnel are partnering with our long standing client to recruit an East Midlands based Estimator. As a Estimator, you will be an integral part of the pre-construction team, working exclusively alongside clients in the medical, educational and commercial sector on new build and refurbishment projects.

Duties
- Work closely with Bid/Pre-Construction team
- Delivering cost analysis for sales enquiries and/or tender submissions
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding cost of materials and labour
- Tendering for interior and fit out projects
- Prepare details cost estimates
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience working for a Main Contractor on tender submissions in Medical, Educational and/or Commerical sector refurbishment projects
- Clear Enhanced DBS – obtained by the client upon onboarding
- Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office programmes, as well as a high level of literacy
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage timescales and deadlines, work as part of a team, and show a dedication to the role
- A degree or adjacent qualification in Construction Management or Quantity Surveying, or extensive estimating experience
Beneficial:
- An understanding of NEC and JCT Forms of Contract
- NRM or SMM7 experience
