Job Duties:

• Prepare surfaces and apply coats of paint to a variety of structures
• Follow blueprints or instructions to determine the necessary materials and paint colours
• Utilise brushes, rollers, or spray guns to apply paint
• Ensure quality and accuracy in painting and finishing work
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

Required Qualifications:

• CSCS card for construction site work
• Proven experience as a painter in a construction setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and quality

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience as a painter in construction

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently
• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training in painting or decorating
• Health and Safety certification

Working Conditions:

This role involves working outdoors and in various weather conditions. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects are required. Flexible working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
