Associate Director - Commercial – Surrey/London

Our client is now looking to expand their pre-construction department by recruiting an Associate Director based in their Surrey/London office, managing the Quantity Surveying Team and Commercial Division.

Duties
- Overseeing a team of pre-construction professionals, including Quantity Surveyors, Assistants, Estimators and Apprentices, acting as their mentor and line manager, ensuring the service they provide is up to standard and they are receiving continued support to achieve their goals
- Working with the Directors as part of the Senior Management Team, attending regular meetings to keep up to date with ongoing priorities, targets, training, quality and issues within the business
- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects over various contracts, ensuring each team is working to the best of their abilities and producing consistent and high quality work
About You
- Hold a degree in a field related to the role, such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- A minimum of 7 years of experience running successful projects
- Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Management for either a construction company, consultancy or private practice, with proficiency in related software such as CostX Measurement
- Ideally a Chartered Member of the RICS, or onsight to achieve Chartered Status within the next 2 years
- Full UK Driving License, Own Transport, and the ability to travel to different areas of the UK for site visits
Salary
- £80,000 - £90,000 per annum
