Cripps Health Centre - UON

Approach Personnel have assisted Interserve Construction since the beginning of September 2017, supplying them with a Senior Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer, Site Manager and more recently an experienced Forklift Driver to assist with the construction of this unique project.

The new Cripps Health Centre will transform services for the healthcare needs of students and staff as well as those of the local community. It was made possible through a generous £9 million gift from the Cripps Foundation – the largest single gift donation from a private foundation in the University’s history.

Construction of a new health centre will replace the existing Cripps Health Centre on campus. Works will include new office space, treatment rooms, toilets together with associated access, landscaping and car parking following demolition of the existing building.

The project is worth £9million and will be completed in August 2018, once complete, the health centre will cater for Students at the University and also the general public from surrounding neighbourhoods like Wollaton and Lenton.  It will boast a list of more than 41,000 patients – the biggest GP register in the UK.
